I grew up on a farm in Monroe County, West Virginia, and received my B.S. degree in Interior Design from Virginia Tech in 1987. Later, I obtained my teaching certificate in Art from Lynchburg College. I taught in Nelson County, Virginia public school for 17 years. I have always enjoyed art and love painting!
Using mainly acrylic paints, I carefully blend my own imagination with actual settings to capture forever glimpses of beauty everyone can enjoy!
The memories of the time I spent growing up on a farm in rural West Virginia influence me in what I choose to paint. I love old farm houses, animals, and country landscapes. I enjoy travelling , and spending time with my husband and children.
